Welcome to 14 GreenAche’rs Agricultural Products Farm.  Our farm is a small poultry farm consisting of 14 acres, owned and operated by Lawrence and Jacalyn Kissell.  We are located on Rt. 606, (Stonewall Jackson Rd.) in Caroline county, VA. We are about an hour and one-half south of Washington, D.C. and an hour north of Richmond, VA. 

We offer fresh brown eggs year ‘round.  In the late Spring and Summer, we sell fryers, broilers, roasters, and guineas for eating fresh.  In the Fall, we offer fresh turkeys for the Thanksgiving holiday.

While our products are not organic, they are chemical-free.  We use a commercial, non-medicated, vegetarian-based feed which contains NO antibiotics, steroids, or growth hormones.

We sell our delicious eggs at the farm, or at the Bowling Green Farmers Market on Saturdays or by pre-arranged private home or business delivery; however we only sell our processed poultry at our farm.

We also offer sales of live poultry to customers who want to experience the taste of fresh eggs from their own chickens, or have children or grandchildren and want them to learn a little about farm life.

With the purchase of a dozen eggs, you receive 2 eggs for free.  So, our dozen is actually 14, not 12!  We have done this from our inception, seven years ago.  We also offer a special on the purchase of our poultry, known as “The Six Bird Special”.  With the purchase of 6 birds, the 7^th  bird is free! 

This year (2008) we are excited about our bi-weekly broiler raffle for the months of June and July, a chance to win a free broiler; a summer-long guinea raffle, a chance to win a free guinea; and starting in August, a raffle to win a free turkey fresh at Thanksgiving!
